1. Stream Global Services
Stream Global Services, a leading provider of integrated business process outsourcing (BPO) services for Fortune 1000 companies, inaugurated its new 1,400-seat Philippine Solutions Center at the newly renovated SM City Annex in Quezon City.
As part of its continued global expansion, the new Stream Global Services facility will support Stream’s growing demand for BPO services and will serve as the company’s new Asia Pacific headquarters. This new facility will likewise provide BPO solutions for new and existing clients looking for high quality cost-effective support in an off-shore location.
Stream Chairman and CEO R. Scott Murray welcomed distinguished guests led by Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte and other business leaders, clients and members of the media.
“With the opening of our Quezon City site, we continue to reinforce our ongoing commitment in providing second-to-none services to our client partners worldwide. This new facility is perfectly suited to support our existing and future client base, with its highly technical support professionals and extensive language support,” said Murray.
The Stream Global Services facility in Quezon City is a total fit-out project of Cornersteel Systems Corporation.
Cornersteel recently completed Stream Global Services' Tunis 3 facility, located in Tunisia, just north of the African coast of the Meditarranean between Algeria and Libya

2. Hinduja Global Solutions
HGSL, a leading business process outsourcing company, recently inaugurated its new call center facility at the Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City. HGSL, part of the Hinduja Group conglomerate based in India, provides outsourcing solutions to global customers across various service lines including back office processing, contact center and customized IT services. 3. Transcom
Transcom recently inaugurated its new call center facility at the new Transcom Center at Fontera Verde in Pasig City, Metro Manila. The call center facility, Transcom’s first in Asia, was attended by foreign and local executives led by Transcom regional general manager for North America and Asia Real Bergevin and executive vice president for North America and Asia Duncan Cowie, as well as local and government officials. The new Transcom Center is located in a prime real estate development area in Ortigas Center. Transcom Worldwide S.A. is a rapidly expanding Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions provider in a wide range of industry sectors offering relationship management services like telemarketing for inbound and outbound communication, web servicing, contract automation, credit management services, and legal and interpretation services. The Comfac Global Group was the fit-out contractor for the newly-completed Transcom workplace facilities.

4. FIS opens new Manila service center
FIS, or Fidelity Information Systems, recently opened its new service center in the Philippines with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo as inauguration guest of honor.
FIS has been serving bank clients in the Philippines for the past 20 years, providing Systematics and Bankway International core banking products. Additionally, FIS is delivering advanced customer interaction management solutions to help clients enhance overall sales and service to profitably grow relationships. FIS’ new service center will offer strategic outsourcing, call center and technology services to banking institutions.
FIS clients in the Philippines, as well as throughout other parts of the world, will now have access to global delivery capabilities, such as call center, back office processing and data center services to stay competitive in their marketplace. The addition of this center is a strategic move by FIS to reinforce its position in this region and is important to FIS’ future growth and profitability. To support these growth objectives, the company anticipates an increase in staff at this location from currently 150 employees to approximately 1,000 in the next 18 months.
